Initial Music Magazine Ideas

The title i have chose for my magazines is Rush.

The first demographic i looked at for my magazine was gender. I have aimed my magazine at mainly females. I have chosen to target my magazine at females as i felt that more magazines magazine could be produced of this sort.The age group i would like to target my magazine would be 15- 20. I have chosen this age group because i feel that my magazine will be more of an interest to them and that they will have more time to read and look more into the contents of my magazine. The magazines intellectual level will be average. The magazine will not be too hard for younger readers and older to read and understand but this magazine will include a lot of pictures that will be more for my age group i would like to place my magazine under.This magazine will be based in England.

I have looked at the psychographics for my magazine by looking on the website 'UK tribe's.

There is a wide variety of audience for my magazine as the contents could apply to what they like to read and see in a magazine.

I have decided to to price my magazine at £2.75. I have priced my magazine at this price because i think that it is not to highly priced and more or my target audience group will be able to afford this magazine. My magazine will be produced monthly as i think that if it was every week the target audience wont be able to keep affording the magazine and stop reading.

The content of my magazine will be similar to Kerrang and Look magazine. However it will be a mixture of fashion and music for girl teenagers and young adults. The genre of music will be alternative many styles and mixtures of bands will be in this magazine.
